These projects bring federal, state, and local requirements into the same channel. We coordinate with the agencies and project partners involved to develop construction and maintenance plans that are economically and environmentally sound.
Plan for the material, not only the cut
Most state and federal permits require a Dredged Material Management Plan. GBA develops these plans alongside the navigation design, defining how placement areas will support initial construction and recurring maintenance dredging for the channel, turning basin, or berth.
